John Paul DeJoria's lesson about how to be successful
August 21, 2014
John Paul DeJoria is no stranger to success. He started his career making only $1.25 per hour and worked his way up to be a part owner in Paul Mitchell Beauty Products and the owner of Patron Tequila. Many people have all sorts of advice to succeed like hard work and a good education but Paul offers something different to the table to help youngsters work their way up the system.
In Dejoria's experience it's not hard work or an education it is simply one thing: Skin Pigment. Turns out if you are brown or black there is absolutely no way you can succeed no matter how hard you try. He recommends anyone that is either born to brown / black / yellow to go through the Micheal Jackson Skin changing process. Dejoria is working on a 'skin dye' product that will remove any of the 'unsuccessful' coloring out of it.
Everyone knows here in America the cards are stacked against anyone who is colored. If they are born poor they will either end up in jail or become poorer. This has nothing to do with the actions of the colored person - simply that they have no other options. It's not like there are a bunch of programs out there to specifically give them advantages over their white counterparts like Affirmative Action.
Dejoria went on to say, "Despite Republicans going into poor neighborhoods and forcing only the colored people to drop out of school for a life of crime; I think the American Colored People can overcome this challenge by using my newest product." Dejoria hopes to get his product on the shelves to help colored folk out in the summer of 2015.
