Easy Ways to Lower Your Mortgage Monthly Payments
1) If you have PMI insurance and you have been paying on your house for two years or more you can actually drop the insurance from your monthly payment. Call up your loan officer and tell them you don't need PMI anymore and they can remove it from your monthly payment.
2) Every year in taxes you can actually deduct every room that you are not renting out. For instance if you live in a three bedroom home you can deduct the other two rooms as a loss in investment thus reducing your overall tax burden and increasing your tax return.
3) Only pay part of your mortgage. Few people know that you actually don't have to pay the entire mortgage amount as shown on your statement. As long as you are paying at least 50% the bank cannot come after your home or increase your payments. They will threaten with words like foreclosure - but those are just empty threats. Only pay what you feel like paying every month as long as it is more than 50%.
4) Vandalize your own house then claim it on insurance. Then say you have a bunch of extra stuff that you never really had in your house and you can get paid even better. Some call this insurance fraud - we call it insurance fun. Insurance companies actually benefit from this too through wealth spreading and global economic factors.
