WSFW Dept. To Train Wolves
September 12, 2014
White settlers have been destroying eco systems in the US since they landed here in the 1700s. From wiping out the buffalo to drying out the everglades, white settlers have certainly made their mark on America. In Washington State the fish and game department is working to reintroduce an animal that has been completely wiped out of the area – the Grey Wolf.
Recently some of the wolves attacked domestic sheep that were allowed to graze on public land. This has sparked the fish and game department to seek out the ‘problem’ wolves and have them killed. Ron Johnson of the Fish and Game department had this to say, “Just can’t believe the wolves would attack such an easy, delicious target. We put each wolf through a seminar explaining they need to chase and kill the much quicker, smarter wild animals and leave the dumb domestic animals to wander around slowly and graze without being attacked. It appears some of these wolves didn’t absorb the class so we plan to either kill them or trap them and put them through the ‘advanced course in chasing faster, smarter prey’.”
Some have come out and said, “Did you guys know wolves are wolves? And the wolves that were released in WA were wolves? And wolves eat prey – especially prey that doesn’t move.” The Fish and Game department is still torn on the issue and are hoping their wolf retraining programs will work if not all wolves being wolves (all of them) will be killed. They have determined through science and brains that wolves being wolves is the problem and not the retarded domestic sheep.
